Sustainability & Environmental Policy
JC Plan Co., Ltd. is committed to promoting sustainability for the global environment, local communities, traditional cultures, and all individuals involved through our business operations.
1. Conservation of Limited Earth Resources and Biodiversity
- We consider global resources and engage in climate change mitigation, environmental protection, and biodiversity conservation to pass on limited natural resources to future generations.
- In promoting our business, we take every possible measure to mitigate climate change and aim to reduce the use of single-use consumer goods such as paper and plastics.
- We work to reduce the consumption of water and energy used throughout our corporate activities, while actively striving to further minimize our environmental footprint.
- Toward biodiversity conservation, we prohibit illegal wildlife trade and do not design tours that negatively impact protected flora and fauna.
2. Promoting Sustainability in Local Communities
- Together with our clients, partner companies, and tour guides, we support regional development while respecting local customs, ethics, and the livelihoods of residents.
- Furthermore, we promote local production for local consumption (Chisan-Chisho), cherish tangible and intangible local cultures as well as traditions passed down through generations, and aim to enhance their value.
3. Aiming for a Secure and Sustainable Work Environment
- We constantly listen to employee feedback and expectations, handle internal and external grievances and reports fairly, and utilize them to improve the workplace environment.
- We actively provide opportunities for sustainability education and training for employees and partner companies, and offer follow-up support to ensure continuous progress.
Environmental Initiatives
JC Plan Co., Ltd. always considers the preservation of the global environment in our inbound tour operator business—covering the planning, arrangement, and execution of various tours—as well as our MICE business. Additionally, we actively pursue the promotion of a recycling-oriented society as one of our core management pillars, contributing to both local and international communities.
Environmental Policy
- Awareness & Education: We actively engage in raising awareness and educating society on environmental conservation through our business activities.
- Compliance: We comply with applicable legal requirements related to environmental aspects as well as other requirements agreed upon by our company.
- Eco-Friendly Planning: From the initial planning stages of inbound tours, we proactively incorporate environmental considerations, such as proposing the utilization of high-quality Japanese cultural and tourism resources and fostering international exchange.
- Information Dissemination & Office Management: We set environmental objectives and targets, such as disseminating environmental information via our corporate website and appropriately maintaining computers and IT equipment, reviewing them as necessary.
- Internal Awareness: We ensure that all employees are thoroughly informed of this Environmental Policy and actively promote environmental activities.
- Public Disclosure: We widely disclose our Environmental Policy to the general public.
